About me

I’m a PhD researcher interested in how future land use change might affect biodiversity and the benefits that society receives from the environment.

I use a mixture of social research, GIS, agent-based modelling, and statistical analysis to explore the effect of future scenarios for afforestation in Scotland on biodiversity and ecosystem services.

I’m based between the School of Geosciences, University of Edinburgh and the Land Use and Ecosystem Services (LUES) Science Group, Forest Research, Roslin.
